We are all shaped by the experiences, relationships, interactions, and ups and downs of life. These encounters can impact our core beliefs, sense of safety and belonging, relationships, how we view ourselves, and how we learn to see and interact with the world around us. My job is to provide a safe, judgment free space for you to open up and explore your inner self. I am a supportive, collaborative, and gently challenging therapist. I believe in the power of a therapeutic relationship and that together we can reach your goals. Together we will develop an individualized treatment plan and using evidenced-based interventions we will create change that you can maintain. Together we will identify, challenge, and change the thoughts and behaviors that are holding you back.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from West Virginia University in 2013. I utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy with a holistic approach. I have experience working with adults, teens, and families in a wide range of practice settings. My treatment focus areas include, but are not limited to, perinatal mental health, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, OCD, life transitions, life skills, and self-love. I am certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and am a member of Postpartum Support International.
I would be honored to accompany you on this journey as you work to create the life you want.
