There are times in our lives when we feel stuck. We may be discouraged by disappointment, overwhelmed by a loss, or feel trapped by anxiety. I believe that forward mobility is possible, and I have a passion for helping people find the light at the end of the tunnel and new reasons for hope and growth. To do that, I create a space where it is safe to share feelings without fear of judgement, and where it is possible to discover inner strength and motivation.
I graduated with my master’s degree in social work from West Virginia University in 2024, and am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. For the last two years I have worked as a middle school social worker. I have worked extensively with children and teens and focus on empowering them to make positive change, believe in their abilities and give themselves grace. I also problem-solve with parents to help them find strategies for creating a safe and stable home environment, and cope with daily life challenges. My focus has been on strengths-based and
solution-focused therapies, motivational interviewing techniques and Trauma-Informed Care. I have a special affinity for work with children, teens and caregivers. Above all else, I believe in the strength and resolve of human beings and their ability to thrive.
